How to Change Mac Wallpaper

Apple has beautiful Mac wallpapers and desktop pictures, but you can change them and even use your own. Here’s how to change your Mac’s wallpaper.

How to change your Mac’s wallpaper

1. In the upper-left corner of your screen, click on the Apple menu () and choose System Preferences
2. Click on the Desktop button (in case Screen Saver is selected)
3. Click on any picture you would like to use, and your Mac’s background will refresh

To use your own photo

1. Click on the plus button (+) in the lower right corner of the System Preferences window
2. Select the photo you would like to use
3. Click Choose
